After the briefest of retirements, Jack Corrozi, the visionary builder is back doing what he loves. It was he who first realized the appeal of upscale housing in the Hockessin and Pike Creek Valley areas. Now he is bringing his vision to the design and construction of the next generation of upscale homes. This marks something of a return to the Robino family for Jack Corrozi. His first job after making a career change in 1973 was under the tutelage of company founder Frank Robino, Jr. Three years later he founded Corrozi Homes, Inc., and began to make a reputation for himself building upscale homes around Pike Creek and Hockessin. So valued were his innovative designs that even during one of the weakest housing markets since World War II (September, 1991, through February, 1992) Corrozi Homes continued to sell in impressive numbers in such now-legendary communities as Limestone Hills, Stenning Woods, Breckinridge, Hillstream, Southwood Estates, and many others. In a 1992 interview Mr. Corrozi reflected on the fact that at the time when he started his company, "Everybody in the industry thought that people didn't want to live in Pike Creek or Hockessin; they wanted to stay in North Wilmington, but in time home buyers will begin to look at areas throughout the state." Clearly the intervening years have proven him right.

In 1986, Jack Carrozi was the only builder selected to the New Castle County Zoning Study Commission, which was also the first of three years that he was recognized as one of the top 400 housing giants in the United States. Always an active force in industry groups, Mr. Corrozi ascended to the presidency of Home Builders Association of Delaware in 1991 - 1992 and was named Builder of the Year in 1992. The following year he joined with other industry leaders in organizing the first Delaware Home Show, now celebrating its 11th year.

Now with this new partnership with Frank Robino Companies, Jack Corrozi is certain to bring exciting times to new home buyers up and down the state!
